Promoting a circular economy in the textile and garment (TG) industry by phasing out hazardous chemicals, improving resource efficiency, supporting sustainable product design, and reducing industrial pollution.

Scope: Lesotho, Madagascar, South Africa, Ethiopia

African ChemObs (Health & Environment Observatories)

Integrated Health and Environment Observatories and legal and institutional strengthening for the Sound Management of chemicals in Africa, contributing to improved health and environment through strengthening national and regional institutions.

Focus: Legal & Institutional Capacity

Ongoing Stockholm Convention NIP

Stockholm Convention NIP Review & Update

Facilitating the implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) through the development, review, and update of National Implementation Plans (NIPs) and submission to the Conference of the Parties (COP).

Focus: POPs Policy & Convention Implementation

Scope: Participating Countries (incl. Ethiopia)
